In the 6th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Ibarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by ≮王者归来≯潇逸利物浦队's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. 9 minutes into the match, ≮王者归来≯潇逸利物浦队's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Johnny Ibarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johnny Ibarra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Will Queraria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Johnny Ibarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ≮王者归来≯潇逸利物浦队's Johnny Ibarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo Figueiredo in the 25th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johnny Ibarra was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Marty Simpson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute. Johnny Ibarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The ≮王者归来≯潇逸利物浦队 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 70th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Ibarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Jurand Klejnowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ≮王者归来≯潇逸利物浦队's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Johnny Ibarra. 0-3. Johnny Ibarra made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in 82 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Johnny Ibarra guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Will Queraria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 91st minute of the match Jurand Klejnowski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Johnny Ibarra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4.
