In the 7th minute, Luz Tejedor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Prior was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Christoffer Blomqvist's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rolando Noboa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoffer Blomqvist in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Svenn Matzke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angelo Prior showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 29th minute of the match. Christoffer Blomqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christoffer Blomqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. A throw-in in the 56th minute of the game was made by Efraim Gilabert with Emmanuel Reyes as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Rolando Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luz Tejedor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Angelo Prior made a huge save. Angelo Prior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 71st minute of play. With a little luck, MILLONARIOS FC's Angelo Prior got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
