An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 17th minute of play forced Delphine Stars's goalkeeper Fabian Kornecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vyacheslav Korolev ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Delphine Stars's corner Liviu Gogu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thiago Pliego quite easily take care of the ball. Cosme Cruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Fabian Kornecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 38th minute of play. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Cosme Cruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. Delphine Stars's Fabian Kornecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 43rd minute of play. Liviu Gogu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. In the last second Thiago Pliego throw himself and got hold of the ball when Liviu Gogu in the 47thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabian Kornecki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute, Cosme Damario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Mariano Lacasa could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Fabian Kornecki however easily saved by the left post. Cosme Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Fabian Kornecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 77th minute of the match. A collision led to Delphine Stars getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Cosme Damario hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Casaus got free with Fabian Kornecki in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabian Kornecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Kornecki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 90 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Fabian Kornecki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 93 minutes into the match, Delphine Stars's goalkeeper Fabian Kornecki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. In the 94th minute Vasile Ştirbu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chile players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Delphine Stars.
