Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. The supporters of Ecuador booed when PICCOLE PESTI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmondo Zarrella didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antonio Vulcano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Claudio Capuozzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabio Trentini to make the kick off. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PICCOLE PESTI reached it. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing PICCOLE PESTI to leave the ground with a draw.
