Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. The supporters of TAXI-MM- booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuan Di Xing in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, TAXI-MM-'s Ivan Cristescu got a free kick in the 25th minute. Martin Alexa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 31st minute of play forced TAXI-MM-'s goalkeeper Martin Alexa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Yuan Di Xing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 72nd minute Bernardino Ipar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When TAXI-MM-'s Yuan Di Xing in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that TAXI-MM-'s Martin Alexa managed to reach the ball for a save.
