If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Alexa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 14th minute. Martin Alexa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, TAXI-MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Martin Alexa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yuan Di Xing could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. TAXI-MM-'s Martin Alexa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 23rd minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. A collision led to TAXI-MM- getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Jacek Krzynowek hit a great ball. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardino Ipar in the 38th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Alexa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Martin Alexa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 51 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Alexa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martin Alexa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After having played for 70 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joel Gaona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Alexa having to make a save. Martin Alexa made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Luca Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Alexa was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Alberto Tafalla scored 1-3 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Alexa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
