Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Strong Body started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Heineken Youths's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steen Müür came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Strong Body in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 10 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Heineken Youths's Steen Müür. Steen Müür was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Heineken Youths booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Heineken Youths's Strong Body was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Steen Müür showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heineken Youths's Steen Müür played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Heineken Youths's Steen Müür. Steen Müür was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Steen Müür took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steen Müür took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 62nd minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Steen Müür. The goal made the score 1-3. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Steen Müür. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 65th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. In the 68th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 68 minutes, Boukjan van Dongen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heineken Youths's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boukjan van Dongen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. Steen Müür didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Steen Müür firmly grabbed it by the left post. Heineken Youths's Boukjan van Dongen got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Heineken Youths's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Steen Müür reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Steen Müür. That made the score 1-8 after 92 minutes of play. Ecuador played a much better game than Heineken Youths and deserved their victory. The Heineken Youths players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
