In the 31st minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darío Friederichs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Caviedes in the 33rd minute of play. If Fabio Caviedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Darío Friederichs. Darío Friederichs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Caviedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Román Grebe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabio Caviedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabio Caviedes made a kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Fabio Caviedes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabio Caviedes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Manzanedo to maneuver through the defense. Isidro De Gavardo scored 2-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 72 minutes into the match, Nibiru X's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Casaus came free, but Darío Friederichs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Darío Friederichs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 74th minute of the match. In the 82ndth minute of the game Pedro Indiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nibiru X's Darío Friederichs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 84th minute Isidro De Gavardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
