After 20 played minutes Guarei FC got a freekick which was hit by Diguinho Rossi. After 25 minutes of play, Mexico's Luca Rouco made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Ruano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Ruano. Armando Ruano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 87th minute of play forced Guarei FC's goalkeeper Armando Ruano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Armando Ruano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Armando Ruano in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Joel Gaona got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
