The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, AC米兰's 何威庭 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Though ot was a great shot AC米兰's keeper Adrian Chioreanu was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Lin Yu Hai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 何威庭 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. AC米兰's Adrian Chioreanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save AC米兰 from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, Qian Lin Yu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of AC米兰's Adrian Chioreanu. Adrian Chioreanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adrian Chioreanu made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Qian Lin Yu sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Desislav Sergeev took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Adrian Chioreanu to make any attempt to save it. Du Jie Ran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 何威庭 in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute of the match AC米兰 got a corner. HALO HANGZHOU's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vinícius Junior ran over to the corner to take the kick. Du Jie Ran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 何威庭 in the 42nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, AC米兰's Cor Netto got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Desislav Sergeev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adrian Chioreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wu Liang Xu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Chioreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desislav Sergeev, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Du Jie Ran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 何威庭, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. HALO HANGZHOU's Bo-Erik McNamara was substituted for Desislav Sergeev. In the 66th minute of the match AC米兰 got a corner. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Bo-Erik McNamara sped through AC米兰's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adrian Chioreanu. AC米兰's 何威庭 got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, AC米兰's goal looked a bit too open when Bo-Erik McNamara came free, but Adrian Chioreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the AC米兰 defense, Lin Yu Hai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrian Chioreanu. The AC米兰 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrian Chioreanu should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lin Yu Hai in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Chioreanu saved AC米兰 from getting behind. In the 91st minute Bo-Erik McNamara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Chioreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC米兰's Adrian Chioreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lin Yu Hai in the 96th minute of play. HALO HANGZHOU's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
