The Cambotinha EC fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Cambotinha EC's Léo Souto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Silvano Gonza kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Falcão Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 played minutes Golden Team got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Mannie. In the 23rd minute, Silvano Gonza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Golden Team's 狄宁朋 got control of the ball when Doğaner Doğu tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Falcão Novaes came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Cambotinha EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Falcão Novaes couldn't finish the play. Caetano Furtado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 狄宁朋 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Fernan Taurino made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Golden Team's Cecilio Valiente got a free kick in the 51st minute. If Falcão Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 狄宁朋 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léo Souto in the 60th minute of play. 狄宁朋 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doğaner Doğu in the 61st minute of the match. 狄宁朋 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léo Souto in the 67th minute of play.
