In the 3rd minute Douglas Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segio Lerdo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Léo Souto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Segio Lerdo came out and tried to block the shot, but Léo Souto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. After some careless play in the Brewers FC defense, Douglas Paulista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Segio Lerdo. The Brewers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Segio Lerdo should have stopped the shot. Segio Lerdo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Brewers FC's Segio Lerdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Paulista in the 15th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Douglas Paulista recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Segio Lerdo. Douglas Paulista showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Segio Lerdo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doğaner Doğu went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Douglas Paulista scored 5-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Segio Lerdo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Segio Lerdo came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Cambotinha EC's Doğaner Doğu. But to his dismay, Doğaner Doğu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. 33 minutes into the match, Léo Souto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Segio Lerdo. Brewers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Léo Souto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Falcão Novaes struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Segio Lerdo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cambotinha EC. Segio Lerdo made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Doğaner Doğu sent off a good shot on target. Segio Lerdo was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Léo Souto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Léo Souto really showed his touch with that goal: 10-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 10-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vachon Udoy was the one to do the kick off. Segio Lerdo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
