The audience was convinced that Desislav Sergeev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iwan Gondek was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. 4 minutes into the match, Qian Lin Yu notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Júbilo Iwata's Iwan Gondek. Wang Chen Hong scored 2-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iwan Gondek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Desislav Sergeev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Gondek having to interfere. Iwan Gondek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desislav Sergeev, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Desislav Sergeev in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Iwan Gondek, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. HALO HANGZHOU's Qian Lin Yu got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Desislav Sergeev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Iwan Gondek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, HALO HANGZHOU's Desislav Sergeev ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iwan Gondek. Iwan Gondek yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Desislav Sergeev took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iwan Gondek. Iwan Gondek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Iwan Gondek stood somewhat misplaced when Desislav Sergeev came free in front of goal and shot 7-0 to the left of him in the 36 minute. Qian Lin Yu scored 8-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iwan Gondek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lin Yu Hai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Gondek having to interfere. After 46 played minutes Júbilo Iwata got a freekick which was hit by Dinei Tróia. Iwan Gondek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wang Chen Hong, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuca Monteiro made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Desislav Sergeev in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwan Gondek saved Júbilo Iwata from getting behind. Iwan Gondek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qian Lin Yu in the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Júbilo Iwata's goal looked a bit too open when Lin Yu Hai came free, but Iwan Gondek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Desislav Sergeev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iwan Gondek having to make a save. HALO HANGZHOU's Bo-Erik McNamara was substituted for Desislav Sergeev. Iwan Gondek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo-Erik McNamara in the 62nd minute of play. When HALO HANGZHOU's Bo-Erik McNamara in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Iwan Gondek was left in no man's land by his defense there! 77 minutes into the match, HALO HANGZHOU's goal looked a bit too open when Samuca Monteiro came free, but Du Jie Ran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, HALO HANGZHOU's Bo-Erik McNamara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iwan Gondek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. Iwan Gondek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Qian Lin Yu went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 14-0 was the resulting score. 92 minutes into the game, HALO HANGZHOU's Wu Liang Xu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iwan Gondek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 15-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. HALO HANGZHOU fully deserved thier win.
