Hector Socorro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, David Lowndes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dorking United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Lowndes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Socorro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hector Socorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Paul Edworthy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When John Paul Edworthy came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Dorking United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Paul Edworthy couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute, John Paul Edworthy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hector Socorro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doug Lovell, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Millrick got free with Clive Blake in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When BICHO neuquino's Elvio Incendio in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dorking United FC's goalie prevented a goal. Dale Murphy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hector Socorro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After 40 played minutes Dorking United FC got a freekick which was hit by John Paul Edworthy. When Laureano Panpili fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BICHO neuquino's protests and gave Laureano Panpili a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute Dale Murphy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Socorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Lowndes made a kick off. After having played for 58 minutes, Laureano Panpili managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BICHO neuquino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laureano Panpili was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laureano Panpili hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Teobaldo Ixona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. John Paul Edworthy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Socorro having to interfere. David Lowndes kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes BICHO neuquino got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Gabino. Gabriel Millrick kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Zaq Gerrard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sammy Curtis hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Teodoro Gabino struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Clive Blake didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BICHO neuquino. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Incendio in the 82nd minute of play forced Dorking United FC's goalkeeper Clive Blake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, BICHO neuquino's Laureano Panpili got a free kick in the 84th minute. Teodoro Gabino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elvio Incendio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clive Blake having to interfere. Hector Socorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Paul Edworthy in the 94th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
