In the 9th minute Brad Missen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marius Bălașa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute Elderslie Magpies were awarded a corner. Ed Howard went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Elderslie Magpies's corner Ed Howard fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marius Bălașa quite easily take care of the ball. In the 13th minute, Brad Missen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marius Bălașa. The goal made the score 1-0. If Raleigh Dale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elderslie Magpies's Corder Clubley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Mihele in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 minutes, Raleigh Dale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elderslie Magpies and the Juventus Țiu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Raleigh Dale kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Elderslie Magpies's zone, Daniel Mihele stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corder Clubley came out of the goal and Daniel Mihele tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elderslie Magpies's Corder Clubley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Mihele in the 28th minute of play.

The wind increased when Daniel Mihele made the kick off in the second half. Brad Missen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Marius Bălașa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Brock Devine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Mihele got free with Corder Clubley in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brock Devine hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. A collision led to Juventus Țiu getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Daniel Mihele hit a great ball. After 66 played minutes Juventus Țiu got a freekick which was hit by Avram Ortacu. Daniel Mihele came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Corder Clubley could save by the left post. 75 minutes into the match, Juventus Țiu's goal looked a bit too open when Raleigh Dale came free, but Marius Bălașa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Raleigh Dale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marius Bălașa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raleigh Dale, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The Elderslie Magpies players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
