After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Wit Mondrowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hahay's supporters rose to their feet, but Wit Mondrowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clive Blake breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Doug Lovell kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. When Wasyl Klawki came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Hahay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wasyl Klawki couldn't finish the play. The Hahay fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Hahay's Daniel Janiczek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. John Paul Edworthy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Przemyslaw Ankiewicz made a huge save. In the 25th minute, Wit Mondrowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Dorking United FC's Doug Lovell ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Przemyslaw Ankiewicz. Przemyslaw Ankiewicz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 45th minute, Daniel Janiczek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clive Blake was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The Dorking United FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hahay were winning 1-3.

In the 53rd minute, Sammy Curtis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sammy Curtis kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Hahay were furious when Wit Jaszyna was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Hahay getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Wit Jaszyna hit a great ball. Hahay's Tanek Cwenar was substituted for Ryszard Ludzia. In the 71st match minute, Hahay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wit Jaszyna to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendon Hicks in the 72nd minute of play forced Hahay's goalkeeper Przemyslaw Ankiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clive Blake made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaw Kaczynski in the 74th minute. In the 79th minute Dale Murphy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Przemyslaw Ankiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tanek Cwenar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Clive Blake tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Hahay's goal looked a bit too open when Doug Lovell came free, but Przemyslaw Ankiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hahay eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
