C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Brad Missen 4 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. When Niceto Piearres fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GangsTaz F. C.'s protests and gave Niceto Piearres a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes GangsTaz F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Piearres. Elderslie Magpies's Raleigh Dale got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raleigh Dale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Elderslie Magpies's Silverio Ignatius threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Brad Missen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Silverio Ignatius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raleigh Dale in the 16th minute. Silverio Ignatius came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Elderslie Magpies's Raleigh Dale. But to his dismay, Raleigh Dale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Nesto in the 35th minute of play forced Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Corder Clubley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ed Howard fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elderslie Magpies's protests and gave Ed Howard a yellow card for diving instead. Ed Howard hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute Fabio Beltza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corder Clubley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corder Clubley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Nesto in the 40th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jose Ignado was the one to do the kick off. Raleigh Dale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Ignatius having to interfere. If Brad Missen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elderslie Magpies's Corder Clubley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Elderslie Magpies from getting a goal against them. Corder Clubley made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Jose Ignado sent off a good shot on target. Brad Missen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Ignatius having to interfere. Brad Missen kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Corder Clubley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Nesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silverio Ignatius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brad Missen in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the GangsTaz F. C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Elderslie Magpies.
