Hector Jakes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelio Gonzalez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 played minutes MetalGarurumon F.C got a freekick which was hit by Enetz Beitia. CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Hector Jakes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hustaz Sasiain in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's goal looked a bit too open when Nelio Gonzalez came free, but Hector Jakes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Deunoro Cabalar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hector Jakes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A collision led to MetalGarurumon F.C getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Lizer Bettencourt hit a great ball. In the 35th minute Nelio Gonzalez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Jakes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Jakes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelio Gonzalez, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute Hustaz Sasiain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Jakes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Oro Velo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Hector Jakes. Hector Jakes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hector Gizon was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hustaz Sasiain in the 52nd minute of play forced CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Hector Jakes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Jakes made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Nelio Gonzalez sent off a good shot on target. Hector Jakes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nelio Gonzalez went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Guillerme Pamo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Enetz Beitia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th match minute, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Elodio to maneuver through the defense. Hector Jakes made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Nelio Gonzalez sent off a good shot on target. Hector Jakes came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by MetalGarurumon F.C's Lizer Bettencourt. But to his dismay, Lizer Bettencourt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nelio Gonzalez got free with Hector Jakes in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hector Jakes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelio Gonzalez in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelio Gonzalez in the 92nd minute of play forced CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Hector Jakes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deunoro Cabalar struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Hector Jakes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MetalGarurumon F.C. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched MetalGarurumon F.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
