The audience was convinced that Evaristo Meira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kaj Jönsson was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Kaj Jönsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Meira in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Figueira SC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Marcelo Medeiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Villiam Juhlin. A collision led to The Heren Istarion getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Johan Vik hit a great ball. Evaristo Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 played minutes The Heren Istarion got a freekick which was hit by Valter Snäll. Figueira SC FSCMZ's Marcelo Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Figueira SC FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. Georg Blomberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 played minutes Figueira SC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Meira. The Heren Istarion's Kaj Jönsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovani Borges in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of The Heren Istarion booed when Figueira SC FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renatinho Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evaristo Meira to make the kick off. If Evaristo Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the game, Jakob Andreasson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Marcelo Medeiros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kaj Jönsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Paiva in the 74th minute of play. The Heren Istarion's Kaj Jönsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovani Borges in the 76th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Evaristo Meira took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Kaj Jönsson to make any attempt to save it. In the 83rd minute, Luiz Guilherme Paiva fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kaj Jönsson, passed just outside the right post. Kaj Jönsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Guilherme Paiva in the 85th minute of the match. Geovani Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Kaj Jönsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 played minutes The Heren Istarion got a freekick which was hit by Joar Helström. The Heren Istarion's Kaj Jönsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save The Heren Istarion from getting a goal against them. Joar Helström hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
