Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Nichifor Codruț tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valentin Verzea took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Verzea in the 12th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Nichifor Codruț managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C.BARLAD's supporters rose to their feet, but Nichifor Codruț was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Irod in the 15th minute. In the 16th play minute Nichifor Codruț came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 2-0. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C.BARLAD's Nichifor Codruț. But to his dismay, Nichifor Codruț quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 26 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paul Irod got free with Benito Sanz in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When F.C.BARLAD's Nichifor Codruț in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Codruț, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Nichifor Codruț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Nichifor Codruț came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Paul Irod made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Irod in the 51st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 minutes, Nichifor Codruț made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nichifor Codruț might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nichifor Codruț ran back to his position shaking his head. 61 minutes into the match, Nichifor Codruț notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Nichifor Codruț's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nichifor Codruț in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Nichifor Codruț came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nichifor Codruț recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Axel Tasis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C.BARLAD's Nichifor Codruț. But to his dismay, Nichifor Codruț quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Nichifor Codruț kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute, Axel Tasis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nichifor Codruț blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Codruț, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichifor Codruț in the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the F.C.BARLAD players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
