Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blas Urtungo in the 3rd minute. Juan Raúl Riquelme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Blas Urtungo sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Raúl Riquelme received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Juan Raúl Riquelme slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. If Juan Raúl Riquelme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venezuela's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Blas Urtungo 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blas Urtungo got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute of the match Inter Miami CF got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Enzo Iago ran over to the corner to take the kick. 25 minutes into the match, Inter Miami CF's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Teo Pacorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Inter Miami CF's Juan Raúl Riquelme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Inter Miami CF's Blas Urtungo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 34th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Urtungo in the 37th minute of play. Joshua Secada struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Teo Pacorro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Urtungo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Inter Miami CF's Blas Urtungo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Juan Raúl Riquelme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Juan Raúl Riquelme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Urtungo in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Amado Muc blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. 83 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Urtungo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Blas Urtungo took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. There was no doubt that Inter Miami CF were the better team. Inter Miami CF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
