In the 81st minute, Sentimiento Auriazul's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristian Sancho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Mihail Stroia however easily saved by the left post. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Mihail Stroia to make any attempt to save it. In the 90th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. Sentimiento Auriazul's Felix Johans got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sentimiento Auriazul had won after a very even match.
