Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vacid Nefer kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Club Deportivo Español's Turgut Talha. Turgut Talha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, Club Deportivo Español's Thiago Pliego threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vacid Nefer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 19th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turgut Talha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chile's Pedro Indiano got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vacid Nefer in the 27th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Carballar. Vacid Nefer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. Vacid Nefer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vacid Nefer, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Orlando Casaus's late challenge caught a Club Deportivo Español's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orlando Casaus helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Chile's Orlando Casaus got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Turgut Talha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 55th match minute, Club Deportivo Español was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vacid Nefer to maneuver through the defense. Turgut Talha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 58th minute. Vacid Nefer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Vacid Nefer might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Pliego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vacid Nefer ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vacid Nefer in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. In the 68th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turgut Talha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Turgut Talha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vacid Nefer's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Abar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Turgut Talha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 83 minutes into the game, Pedro Indiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chile's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Deportivo Español the free kick. In the 83rd minute, Pedro Indiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Deportivo Español made a substitution. Arnaldo Queiroz replaced Tenho Sono. Pedro Indiano hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Alfredo Sotil didn't quite understand what happened when in the 86 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Pedro Indiano got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Club Deportivo Español's Vacid Nefer got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chile had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
