In the 14th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Espiga to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 18th minute of play forced Heavenly Hooters's goalkeeper Lennie Rusby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phil Naylor in the 27th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Todd Griffiths shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lennie Rusby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Todd Griffiths in the 40th minute of the match. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Luca Espinar got a free kick in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Todd Griffiths made a kick off. The throw-in from Luo Feng Feng in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. The supporters of Honduras booed when Heavenly Hooters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Todd Griffiths didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute Phil Naylor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Espinar to maneuver through the defense. Heavenly Hooters's supporters rose to their feet, but Marty King was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the game, Luo Feng Feng threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Sebastian Villa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Luo Feng Feng got a throw-in 72 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Todd Griffiths. In the 73rd match minute, Heavenly Hooters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brandon Wright to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 76th minute of play forced Heavenly Hooters's goalkeeper Lennie Rusby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heavenly Hooters's Adrian Collier was substituted for Richárd Bódog. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Heavenly Hooters's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Honduras's Edmundo Espiga to fire away a dangerous shot which Lennie Rusby despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moises Tafalla in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lennie Rusby prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Pedro Luiz de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Shane Beesley made in the 84th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Todd Griffiths however managed to control. The supporters of Honduras booed when Heavenly Hooters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Collier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luiz de Moraes in the 91st minute of the match. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Edmundo Espiga hit a great ball. Marty King took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todd Griffiths in the 94th minute of play. When Luca Espinar fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Luca Espinar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Luca Espinar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marty King, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
