Salvador Gil came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Luckas Baert tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Luckas Baert could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. Luckas Baert in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Luckas Baert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. 65 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Christobal came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Christobal, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luckas Baert in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind.
