Facundo Cadaval blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mugurel Slătineanu having to make a save. Mugurel Slătineanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Cadaval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Mugurel Slătineanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Mugurel Slătineanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Facundo Cadaval made a precise shot to the right of Mugurel Slătineanu. AFC Nirosxn 08's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. AFC Nirosxn 08's Gregorio Martxot was substituted for Robert Acalinei. AFC Nirosxn 08's 哥伦布 Tiger was substituted for Ionică Savu. In the 60th minute 哥伦布 Tiger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, AFC Nirosxn 08's David Jönsätt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 65th minute. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AFC Nirosxn 08's Mugurel Slătineanu did a great save. Mugurel Slătineanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 66th minute. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mugurel Slătineanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Lautaro Mancebo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 66th minute. Mexico made a substitution. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Mugurel Slătineanu made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute, Luca Zorita fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to AFC Nirosxn 08 getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Laurențiu Todericiu hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Mexico played a much better game than AFC Nirosxn 08 and deserved their victory. The AFC Nirosxn 08 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
