Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Tepedino in the 15th minute of play. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Umea Sorzano took the corner. The throw-in from Leonardo Leoz in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Marcos Urtsin. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Danial Boon took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Dante Lacasa to make any attempt to save it. Leonardo Leoz got a throw-in 30 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Facundo Cadaval. Lautaro Mancebo scored 2-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albino Maiorga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Albino Maiorga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Mexico booed when Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Urtsin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Leoz kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rdth minute of the game Joel Gaona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Albino Maiorga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 63 minutes, Joel Gaona made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Albino Maiorga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene made a substitution. Ezequiel Lluques replaced Gong Jun Jian. Leonardo Leoz kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Albino Maiorga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot by Joel Gaona from long distance, 77 minutes into the match, got Albino Maiorga's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience was convinced that Joel Gaona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albino Maiorga was relentless in the 79th minute of the game.
