A well-hit corner resulted in 吕国川 heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Zach 高峰 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 14 minutes into the match, ★『红魔』曼联★上海申花【沪】's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Zeferino Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ★『红魔』曼联★上海申花【沪】's Zeferino Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when 尤林源 came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Zach 高峰 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 尤林源 to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in ★『红魔』曼联★上海申花【沪】's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeferino Guimarães came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Zeferino Guimarães made a huge save. Cristian Sancho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zeferino Guimarães firmly grabbed it by the left post. Zeferino Guimarães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Zach 高峰 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If 尤林源 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of ★『红魔』曼联★上海申花【沪】 booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zach 高峰 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Zeferino Guimarães but with some difficulty. In the 94th minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
