But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zeferino Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeferino Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of ★『红魔』曼联★上海申花【沪】's Zeferino Guimarães. Zeferino Guimarães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 34 minutes into the match, ★『红魔』曼联★上海申花【沪】's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Zeferino Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeferino Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 35th minute of the match. After some careless play in the ★『红魔』曼联★上海申花【沪】 defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeferino Guimarães. The ★『红魔』曼联★上海申花【沪】 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeferino Guimarães should have stopped the shot. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zach 高峰, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Zach 高峰 came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Zach 高峰 made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After the first half Mexico were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdel Karim Santirso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. ★『红魔』曼联★上海申花【沪】's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 杜亮威 in the 53rd minute. The corner ended in 杜亮威 almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. Zeferino Guimarães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luca Zorita's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 63rd minute, 杜亮威 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 70 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 73rd minute of play forced ★『红魔』曼联★上海申花【沪】's goalkeeper Zeferino Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luca Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Sezgin Muren came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute Sezgin Muren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes of play, ★『红魔』曼联★上海申花【沪】's Zach 高峰 made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 90 minutes, 吕国川 mouthed his way into the referee's book. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdel Karim Santirso, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When Leonardo Leoz fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Leonardo Leoz a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mexico fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave ★『红魔』曼联★上海申花【沪】 a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by 杜亮威, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. 3-3. 吕国川 kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match.
