Ceyhan Celvet started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ceyhan Celvet in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Muhammad Chan saved Stars from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wen Ke Yan in the 7th minute of play forced Golden Dragón F.C's goalkeeper Hilario Pesquera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Pesquera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Siong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hilario Pesquera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Siong in the 8th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Cláudio Botelho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Ceyhan Celvet came free, but Muhammad Chan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Muhammad Chan made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Fernandez Vizcarreto sent off a good shot on target. Mario Tercero got a throw-in 26 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Claudinei Damião. Golden Dragón F.C's Ceyhan Celvet got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claudinei Damião's late challenge caught a Golden Dragón F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinei Damião helped the player get up and apologised. Claudinei Damião hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Hilario Pesquera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Siong, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stars's goalkeeper Muhammad Chan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hilario Pesquera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wen Ke Yan in the 41st minute of play. Mario Tercero's late challenge caught a Golden Dragón F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Tercero helped the player get up and apologised. Mario Tercero kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Emmanuel Vasco charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emmanuel Vasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emmanuel Vasco hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Golden Dragón F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Siong came free, but Hilario Pesquera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Siong to strike the kick off in the second half. Stars's Muhammad Chan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceyhan Celvet in the 55th minute of play. Golden Dragón F.C's Dario Betzanos was substituted for Ceyhan Celvet. Alan Petersen made a great header on Golden Dragón F.C's corner, it was just that Stars's Muhammad Chan managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 62ndth minute of the game Dario Betzanos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stars's Muhammad Chan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute, Alan Petersen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Stars's Cláudio Botelho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hilario Pesquera. That made the score 0-2 after 69 minutes of play. Muhammad Chan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selim Mićić, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Hilario Pesquera came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Stars's Cláudio Botelho. But to his dismay, Cláudio Botelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Attila Toldi charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Attila Toldi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Attila Toldi hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Modris Pavējš came free, but Muhammad Chan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87thth minute of the game Cláudio Botelho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden Dragón F.C's Hilario Pesquera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 89th minute, Gasteiz Durazno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stars's Bernt Willig shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 90th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hilario Pesquera but with some difficulty. A throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game was made by Wen Ke Yan with Wen Ke Yan as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The Golden Dragón F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Stars's performance. The match ended with a win for Stars.
