ARON FC's Luís Fabiano Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 5th minute of play. If Oséas Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 9 minutes on the clock, Camilo Covarrubias commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Uruguay fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! Maicon Viana shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Luís Fabiano Vaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Proença in the 17th minute of the match. Sebastião Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Oséas Rosa put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Uruguay's Francisco Seco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 27 minutes, Camilo Franco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uruguay and the ARON FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Camilo Franco got a free kick in the 27th minute. The supporters of ARON FC booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Carballal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maicon Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastião Xavier. Kevin Carballal hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, one of Uruguay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Uruguay. When the match had been going on for 41 minutes, ARON FC's Maicon Viana got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Bruno Beldad hit a great ball. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Escribano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fabiano Vaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Proença in the 53rd minute of play. In the 57th minute Sebastião Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, ARON FC's Sebastião Xavier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Xavier in the 63rd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Fabiano Vaz was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Francisco Seco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Francisco Seco really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. If Edu Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by ARON FC's Edu Proença. But to his dismay, Edu Proença quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Bueno in the 76th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute of the match Uruguay got a corner. ARON FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Cazalla ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano got a free kick in the 80th minute. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Bueno in the 81st minute of the match. ARON FC's Luís Fabiano Vaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save ARON FC from getting a goal against them. ARON FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Francisco Seco scored to the left of an out of position Luís Fabiano Vaz, making the score, 4-3. In the 89th minute Manuel Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oséas Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Bueno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Bruno Beldad hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ARON FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uruguay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
