With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Gregorio Hotz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jorge Iztal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Demario in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dante Lacasa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Elia, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Gregorio Hotz took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Iztal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Elia in the 31st minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Jorge Iztal made a huge save. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 56th minute. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jorge Iztal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A hard shot 58 in the game by Lautaro Mancebo from a close distance when the talented Jorge Iztal managed to make a qualified save. Espirillo FC's players were relieved. Lautaro Mancebo had several of the Espirillo FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 58 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Jorge Iztal as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 62nd minute, Arturo Edwardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Espirillo FC's Arturo Edwardo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Iztal having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 71stth minute. Though ot was a great shot Espirillo FC's keeper Jorge Iztal was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 72 minutes Espirillo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Luca Zorita made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Espirillo FC's Jorge Iztal managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Arnoldo Arotza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim Fernandes in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Fernandes in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of Espirillo FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Iztal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 93rd minute. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jorge Iztal firmly grabbed it by the left post. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
