FURIA FIEL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovanildo Luis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Geovanildo Luis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Geovanildo Luis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Philip Boffin made a huge save. Pedro Luiz Abreu got a throw-in 21 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Wieslaw Klucznik. Aníbal Motta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haji Sarap having to interfere. Haji Sarap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Leonel Simão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomé Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Philip Boffin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When Horácio Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Joinville City - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horácio Abraão couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Haji Sarap had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Napoleon Dzierwa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adhemar Santos in the 71st minute of play forced FURIA FIEL's goalkeeper Philip Boffin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the FURIA FIEL players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Joinville City - FSCMZ.
