Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rene Aires got the match started through his kick off. Amado Nisio hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Rene Aires took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 15 minutes into the game, Alonso Berganza threw the ball into play from the sideline. The Loco De Remate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walmir Catarinense should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 26th minute of play forced Loco De Remate's goalkeeper Walmir Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Rene Aires took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Rolando Noboa to make any attempt to save it. Julian Murillo scored 2-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walmir Catarinense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Rene Aires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Rene Aires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Walmir Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the match, Loco De Remate's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Walmir Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loco De Remate's Hıdır Namal was substituted for Feliciano Iratxo. Alonso Berganza made in the 56th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Loco De Remate's Fabian Raphael. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hıdır Namal in the 62nd minute of the match. Walmir Catarinense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anthony Alvarado during the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clodoveo Christobal in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Peru walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
