Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aron Neculce came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 14 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. The long shot by Petre Izbașa in the 15th minute really tested Julio Vera's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Iván Zamorano got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aron Neculce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelian Zogreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Neculce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aron Neculce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Camilo Gisbert got a throw-in 37 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Agustín Saelices. Aron Neculce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Iván Zamorano came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Aron Neculce was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iván Zamorano in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ninjas in Pyjamas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eliodor Dan in the 46th minute. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Eliodor Dan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute, Cornel Surdilă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 63 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Aron Neculce managed to make a qualified save. Ninjas in Pyjamas's players were relieved. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Aron Neculce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelian Zogreanu in the 77th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
