Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The crowd rose to their feet as Benicio Quintyn kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 1-0 in the 2 minute of play. Cristian Sancho scored 1-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Truman Harrington, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 9 minutes into the match, KYRA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Truman Harrington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Truman Harrington was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Truman Harrington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justo Argina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Benicio Quintyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Ecuador's Felix Montenegro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 28 minutes into the match, KYRA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Truman Harrington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Alberto Francesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes KYRA FC got a freekick which was hit by Hector Corderall. Rodrigo Odon charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo Odon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Justo Argina was slow to take the kick. During this time KYRA FC's players had a chance to rest. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paskal Ayarza in the 89th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Truman Harrington having to interfere. Camilo Balbi kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After 96 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Truman Harrington came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. KYRA FC's Truman Harrington proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save KYRA FC from getting a goal against them. The Ecuador supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ecuador would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
