Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bruno Sepúlveda got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Sepúlveda got free with Julio Vera in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 5 minutes into the game, LA IMPRENTA's Bruno Sepúlveda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Liu Chang Hong tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Mark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to LA IMPRENTA getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Alvaro Loria hit a great ball. Alvaro Loria kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Bernardino Mark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardino Mark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd match minute, LA IMPRENTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Duarte to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, LA IMPRENTA's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Bernardino Mark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Felix Montes fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Felix Montes a yellow card for diving instead. Bernardino Mark didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 46thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LA IMPRENTA's Bernardino Mark was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bernardino Mark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 48th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. In the 53rd minute Ricardo Bertoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardino Mark made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 54th minute. Aaron Duarte took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. LA IMPRENTA's Bernardino Mark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 60th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, LA IMPRENTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bernardino Mark, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Bertoni in the 75th minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Bertoni in the 92nd minute of play. When Ricardo Bertoni came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the LA IMPRENTA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Bertoni couldn't finish the play. The supporters of LA IMPRENTA booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
