E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s Lucas Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 14th minute of play forced E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s goalkeeper Lucas Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 16th minute of play. In the 21st minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Luz Tejedor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lucas Duarte quite easily take care of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Lucas Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the game, Luz Tejedor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Lucas Duarte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® made a substitution. Ordono Balda replaced Tiago Clavell. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ordono Balda in the 47th minute. The E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Radamel-Falcao García stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s goalkeeper Lucas Duarte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luz Tejedor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 63rd minute of play forced E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s goalkeeper Lucas Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Ordono Balda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ordono Balda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Milagros Fraga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucas Duarte having to make a save. In the 82nd minute, Peru's Luz Tejedor dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdzislaw Lichniak in the 90th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lennart Danekjær during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
