Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Omar Conrao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. A well done corner resulted in Cristian Sancho drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind Domínguez AFC's goalkeeper. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Tino in the 13th minute of play. Fidel Gaitano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Tino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute of the match Domínguez AFC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Artemio Cidro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Domínguez AFC's Fidel Gaitano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Ove Colin in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Omar Conrao narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Omar Conrao. Omar Conrao dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 43 played minutes, Domínguez AFC's Artemio Cidro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Domínguez AFC reached it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Omar Conrao. That made the score 1-3 in the 54 minute of play. In the 58th minute, Bernabe Weterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Domínguez AFC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Domínguez AFC's Fidel Gaitano in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Conrao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Omar Conrao made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 65th minute. After having played for 66 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Omar Conrao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Tino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Conrao having to interfere. Omar Conrao made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 73rd minute. 73 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Omar Conrao, 1-4. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the game, Domínguez AFC's Humberto Hermon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Jairo Tino kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Omar Conrao made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Fidel Gaitano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Omar Conrao. Domínguez AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Atilano Silbestre hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Conrao having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Domínguez AFC.
