Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fidel Gaitano ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Domínguez AFC's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Conrao came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the match, Domínguez AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Omar Conrao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galsino Camino made in the 20th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sven-Ove Colin immediately put the ball in play. In the 24th minute, Fidel Gaitano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Domínguez AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Atilano Silbestre got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Jairo Tino scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 2-0. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Jairo Tino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 50th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Jairo Tino struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Domínguez AFC. 56 minutes into the match, Domínguez AFC's Jairo Tino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Fidel Gaitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Hermon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 71 minutes of play, Domínguez AFC's Humberto Hermon made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th minute, Atilano Silbestre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Omar Conrao when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Ove Colin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Ove Colin scored 4-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Domínguez AFC fully deserved thier win.
