Lucas Beltran received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thiago Pliego came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucas Beltran slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. Ismael Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Cléberson Fantini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Cléberson Fantini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cléberson Fantini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Thiago Pliego successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ismael Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 37th minute of the match. If Orlando Casaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pedro Indiano fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chile's protests and gave Pedro Indiano a yellow card for diving instead. Pedro Indiano hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Felix Garrido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Toscano having to interfere. In the 57th minute Crisólia FBPA were awarded a corner. Fabrício Medeiros went to the cornerflag to take it. If Cléberson Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Indiano came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ismael Toscano could save by the left post. Crisólia FBPA's Ismael Toscano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Crisólia FBPA from getting a goal against them. 70 minutes into the match, Crisólia FBPA's goalkeeper Ismael Toscano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlando Casaus. In the 72nd minute, Nastasio Mezquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Crisólia FBPA getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Nastasio Mezquita hit a great ball. Ernani Baiano might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Pliego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernani Baiano ran back to his position shaking his head. 77 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Ernani Baiano came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 79 minutes, Ernani Baiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crisólia FBPA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernani Baiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Toscano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute, Alan Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Crisólia FBPA's goalkeeper Ismael Toscano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Ismael Toscano made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Rony Félix's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Ismael Toscano in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chile were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Crisólia FBPA to leave the ground with a draw.
