Serafino Bazil kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Bruno Magdaleno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Gaston Izel hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Magdaleno. Darkness's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 23rd minute, Gaston Izel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Darkness. Bruno Magdaleno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 27th minute of play forced Darkness's goalkeeper Bruno Magdaleno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darkness's Bruno Magdaleno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 29th minute of play. After some careless play in the Darkness defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Magdaleno. Bruno Magdaleno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Serafino Bazil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodolfo Hori charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Hori the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serafino Bazil to make the kick off. Bruno Magdaleno made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Darkness's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Darkness's Bruno Magdaleno managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Darkness's goalkeeper Bruno Magdaleno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bruno Magdaleno in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 57th minute, Ole-Gunnar Klose got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Magdaleno having to interfere. Bruno Magdaleno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 68th minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darkness made a substitution. Benigno Canor replaced Ole-Gunnar Klose. Bruno Magdaleno made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Bruno Magdaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Bruno Magdaleno made a huge save. Bruno Magdaleno came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Daniel Zorita's late challenge caught a Darkness's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Zorita helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. Rodolfo Hori hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Bruno Magdaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Darkness was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Hori didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Darkness fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
