Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fryderyk Jajecznica started the match with the kick off. Fryderyk Jajecznica could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 5th minute Iwan Ostrowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Iwan Ostrowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spartans Lodz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Iwan Ostrowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 21 minutes, Fryderyk Jajecznica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spartans Lodz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fryderyk Jajecznica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iwan Ostrowski kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Procopio Trespalacios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 36 minutes, Fryderyk Jajecznica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spartans Lodz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fryderyk Jajecznica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Spartans Lodz's Procopio Trespalacios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Spartans Lodz's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Felix Montenegro managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Lucjan Rasiak hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Procopio Trespalacios. The goal made the score 2-1. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fryderyk Jajecznica in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Spartans Lodz's Lucjan Rasiak got a free kick in the 61st minute. 61 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Procopio Trespalacios having to make a save. Iwan Ostrowski charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iwan Ostrowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Spartans Lodz getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Iwan Ostrowski hit a great ball. Fryderyk Jajecznica blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fryderyk Jajecznica in the 72nd minute of play. Procopio Trespalacios came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Spartans Lodz's Marcin Marchewka was substituted for Fryderyk Jajecznica. In the 83rd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Procopio Trespalacios was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Procopio Trespalacios made a huge save. In the 86th minute, Spartans Lodz's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Marcin Marchewka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Marchewka, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
