The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 74th minute of play forced Devoto club social's goalkeeper Victoriano Horado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Brion in the 93rd minute of play. Emanuel Gartzen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere.
