Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Hjelm's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Remigio Petrigai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play. Remigio Petrigai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 37th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Petrigai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Cristian Sancho had to leave the field with a concussion. When Kuido Rihma fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Imperio del Cuervo's protests and gave Kuido Rihma a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to El Imperio del Cuervo getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. In the 73rd minute of the match, Agustín Saelices got a very nice opportunity to score, but Remigio Petrigai was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Diego Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigio Petrigai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Remigio Petrigai in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zachariasz Frankowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Diego Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remigio Petrigai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes in the game Primitivo Andino did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Diego Mancebo. 94 minutes into the match, El Imperio del Cuervo's goalkeeper Remigio Petrigai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Mancebo. In the 94th match minute, El Imperio del Cuervo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Criston to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than El Imperio del Cuervo.
