Alvinegro de Tupã were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Colombia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Silvinho Meira took the corner. Silvinho Meira made a great header on Alvinegro de Tupã's corner, it was just that Colombia's Pedro Manzanares managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Alvinegro de Tupã's Deng Shu Kuan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Deng Shu Kuan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Alvinegro de Tupã's Aníbal Leal was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 21st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Karl Martin Bell Burnell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 25th minute of play. Karl Martin Bell Burnell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axel Montenegro went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deng Shu Kuan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Eduard Iacobescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Deng Shu Kuan made the kick off in the second half. Alvinegro de Tupã's Karl Martin Bell Burnell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Axel Montenegro went to the cornerflag to take it. Luis Cazalla was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Karl Martin Bell Burnell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Mastache in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Deng Shu Kuan came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvinegro de Tupã's Karl Martin Bell Burnell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 62nd minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Abram Sarmiento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Karl Martin Bell Burnell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Karl Martin Bell Burnell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santino Seco in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 75th minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Martin Bell Burnell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Alvinegro de Tupã's Karl Martin Bell Burnell got control of the ball when Abram Secada tried to sneak it across the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Alvinegro de Tupã's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Karl Martin Bell Burnell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 90th minute of play forced Alvinegro de Tupã's goalkeeper Karl Martin Bell Burnell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aníbal Leal during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Alvinegro de Tupã getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Aníbal Leal hit a great ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
