An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 39th minute of play forced Jurassic Monsters SA's goalkeeper Yiğitcan İstanbullu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jurassic Monsters SA's Pedro Grandis suffered a sore thigh after 46 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Jurassic Monsters SA made a substitution. Célio Saldanha replaced Pedro Grandis. Moises Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a little luck, Jurassic Monsters SA's Yiğitcan İstanbullu got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line.
