In the 16th minute, Emanuel de Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 19 minutes, Téo Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quebra Ossos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Téo Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Vítor Ferraz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25 played minutes Galo na Veia FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel de Sousa. In the 27thth minute of the game Carlos Augusto Galvão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galo na Veia FC™'s João Adolfo Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 28 in the game by José Vítor Ferraz from a close distance when the talented Ronaldão dos Santos managed to make a qualified save. Quebra Ossos FC's players were relieved. João Adolfo Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the game, José Vítor Ferraz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ronaldão dos Santos. José Vítor Ferraz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Galo na Veia FC™'s João Adolfo Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betão Marinho in the 40th minute of play. Carlos Augusto Galvão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Adolfo Fonseca having to make a save. 45 minutes into the game, Quebra Ossos FC's Carlos Augusto Galvão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Adolfo Fonseca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, José Vítor Ferraz put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ronaldão dos Santos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Augusto Galvão got free with João Adolfo Fonseca in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Quebra Ossos FC's Ronaldão dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Vítor Ferraz in the 59th minute of play. Ronaldão dos Santos came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Galo na Veia FC™'s José Vítor Ferraz. But to his dismay, José Vítor Ferraz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Romeu Motta's late challenge caught a Quebra Ossos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romeu Motta helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 played minutes Galo na Veia FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Romeu Motta. João Adolfo Fonseca was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Betão Marinho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Betão Marinho really showed his touch with that goal: 5-2. 70 minutes into the match, Galo na Veia FC™'s goalkeeper João Adolfo Fonseca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Augusto Galvão. A collision led to Quebra Ossos FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Luís Gustavo de Lima hit a great ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Hudson Prata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galo na Veia FC™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Hudson Prata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Quebra Ossos FC's Carlos Augusto Galvão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Adolfo Fonseca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Galo na Veia FC™'s Marcelo Sá suffered a concussion after 81 minutes and had to leave the field. Eliézer Dracena charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliézer Dracena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd minute, Eliézer Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute José Vítor Ferraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldão dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Quebra Ossos FC's Murillo Pombal got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute of the match Hudson Prata sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronaldão dos Santos skillfully saved the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Quebra Ossos FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Vítor Ferraz came free, but Ronaldão dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Murillo Pombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quebra Ossos FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Galo na Veia FC™ had won, even though Quebra Ossos FC had held more of the ball.
