After a rather tough play, Geetsvondel²'s Christiaan Caes got a free kick in the 6th minute. A hard shot by José Puyol from long distance, 7 minutes into the match, got Herald Wouqier's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Simon Van den Berghe charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Van den Berghe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ciruel Academy booed when Geetsvondel² was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Van den Berghe didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tio Cabezon came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Ciruel Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tio Cabezon couldn't finish the play. Herald Wouqier made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Thomas Morera sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute Tio Cabezon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herald Wouqier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Geetsvondel²'s goal looked a bit too open when Tio Cabezon came free, but Herald Wouqier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Bartolomé Sabina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Ciruel Academy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
