After a rather tough play, FC Pladask's Kristen Sollien got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd minute of the match Jeremias Lago shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Douglas Fowler showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kiko Martins in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Douglas Fowler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kiko Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Douglas Fowler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th match minute, FC Pladask was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Johan Hagberg to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Negri in the 13th minute of play forced FC Pladask's goalkeeper Douglas Fowler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Pladask's zone, Kiko Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Douglas Fowler came out of the goal and Kiko Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Kiko Martins sped through FC Pladask's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Douglas Fowler. After some careless play in the Galo na Veia FC™ defense, Kristen Sollien kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elói Medeiros. The Galo na Veia FC™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elói Medeiros should have stopped the shot. After 34th play minutes Yuri Queiroz shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Douglas Fowler and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of FC Pladask booed when Galo na Veia FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodriguinho Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Douglas Fowler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Queiroz in the 46th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kiko Martins to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Alf Eik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elói Medeiros was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. After 52 played minutes Galo na Veia FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Domingues. 60 minutes into the match, Galo na Veia FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Kristen Sollien came free, but Elói Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Douglas Fowler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kiko Martins in the 62nd minute. 67 minutes into the match, Rodriguinho Cabral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Douglas Fowler. FC Pladask's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodriguinho Cabral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Kiko Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Douglas Fowler made a huge save. Douglas Fowler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Pimenta in the 76th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes FC Pladask got a freekick which was hit by Erik Bratli. In the 78th match minute, FC Pladask was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Bratli to maneuver through the defense. Galo na Veia FC™'s Elói Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristen Sollien in the 82nd minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Rafa Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute Kristen Sollien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elói Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galo na Veia FC™'s goalkeeper Elói Medeiros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 90 minutes into the game, Jeremias Lago was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galo na Veia FC™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Pladask the free kick. The referee gave FC Pladask a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alf Eik, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Galo na Veia FC™'s Elói Medeiros. 2-4. Jeremias Lago got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of FC Pladask booed when Galo na Veia FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball.
